Represent exclusive jewelry designer brands. Create conditions that will inspire a guest to indulge in a memory of their dream vacation. Provide the highest level of customer service to all guests. Drive incremental revenue for the shops onboard ship.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Host a variety of promotions and events in intimate in-store settings and large-scale environments such as a theatre to promote key products and guest experiences.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Sales Manager, shop team, and cruise line partners on strategies to improve performance continually.
  • Achieve or exceed sales goals.
  • Communicate authentic and accurate information about the product.
  • Professionally interact with VIP guests, promote collections, and initiate invitations to events.
  • Overcome high-ticket sales challenges while maintaining gross margin requirements.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the Starboard Sales Ceremony and Company’s Mission Statement, goals, and initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

Ability to:

  • Personally invite guests to shop.
  • Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills to large groups including the ability to conduct product seminars, share product knowledge through storytelling and host events for guests.
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills including establishing rapport, creating emotional connections, and building trust with the guest.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.
  • Restructure plans and respond to changing business needs, as necessary.
  • Be flexible in work assignments.

 

Required Experience:

  • 4+ years in retail jewelry experience or luxury sales experience a plus
  • Previous cruise ship sales experience is preferred but not mandatory
